Washington Alpine Partners

I recently moved to Bellingham from Bend, OR and I'm looking for some partners to climb alpine rock and ice routes in the North Cascades.

I have experience with multi pitch sport, multi pitch ice, steep snow and harder scrambling. I can lead low 5.10 sport, and up to WI4. I have alpine experience, but most of it has been solo, and I'm really looking to get better at traveling on a rope team. 

Some of my solos have been in the 5.4-5.5 range, and up to AI3. These include the south ridge of Torment, west ridge of Terror, Mt Degenhardt, north ridge of Mt Washington (OR), and the Reid Glacier headwall on Mt Hood.

Some of my goals are the north buttress of Terror, northeast ridge of Triumph, northeast buttress of Goode, Gerber-Sink on Dragontail, and some moderate routes in the Bugaboos. I'd also like to get back up to Banff for some ice climbing this winter.
