I'll be taking a look around at a cliff span just outside The Dalles, Oregon (approx. 13 mins.). It's got a lot of potential for development and as a result, there are signs that other developers have been there in recent years. There are static lines hanging across the cliffs, both white and they've been abandoned there for as long as we locals can remember. I'm planning to cut the old lines and set some statics that aren't as easily seen from the old highway, (hwy. 40).
Does anyone have any information on bolting in this area? Did you leave the lines, and when, please? What did the consolidated rock look like? I know a few people who've explored the potential here, but they wouldn't set fixed lines unless they were cleaning and bolting, which clearly isn't the case. Any information would be met with gratefulness. Thank you!
