I'm new to all these new gadgetries, can barely figure out my new garmin watch.   Looking for advice for a portable solar panel and power block.  Backpacking into an alpine rock area for 5 days and need to keep phone and headlamp charged!

Thanks

Probably better to just carry a couple charged battery packs and skip the solar panel for just 5 days. I use the Anker ones. Put your phone on airplane mode except when you're using it.

Airplane mode, no BT, etc...

10,000 mAh batt banks can work quite well. 20,000 if that is not enough for you... but larger sizes airlines don't like very much, you may need to try to get approval.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
