ABQ Climbing Partners

Hi everyone, I'll be moving to Albuquerque in a couple weeks and am looking for regular climbing partners in the area. Been in Germany for the last three years and mostly climbing sport, but excited to try the New Mexico rock and get used to some different styles.

Sport I usually onsight in the 10s, 11s will go in a day, and 12s are my projecting range. Bouldering I can likely do around V4-V6, but I don't really know as I haven't done much of it in the last couple of years. I have a trad rack but not much experience with it. Would really like to start dabbling though. Sport multipitch I've done a few of and really enjoy, but no trad multipitch experience (would also like to eventually try after doing more trad single pitch).

Stoke level is more important than skill level in a partner for me. So if anyone is down for a session and maybe more, feel free to shoot me a message. Looking forward to getting involved in the ABQ/NM climbing community :)

Hey there, I just moved to ABQ for school and will also be looking for climbing partners. I am a 5.10 (usually) -5.11s (when in shape) sport climber, but love crack climbing/trad most! I have climbed around the area a good bit and have a brother here that climbs, but is very busy. So I’m looking to increase my climbing partner pool. Lots of trad experience too if that’s what you’re trying to get more into. 

I live in Santa Fe but climb all over Northern New Mexico. My availability is usually on Saturdays and Sundays with an occasional weekday off. HMU at 505-670-5346.
