Easiest way to get to Lander or Ten Sleep from PA

I live in South East PA and I am trying to figure out the most logical way to get there. I see there are a couple different airports to fly into for a short trip. There seems to be no direct flight. Would it be easier to just fly into to Denver and just drive? 

In the past when I’ve come from the east coast for short trips I’ve flown into Denver. It’s a bit of a drive (~5 to Lander, ~6.5 to Ten Sleep) but wayyy easier than trying to fly into Jackson or Cheyenne.

Yeah I feel like price and time-wise, Denver is one of the easier options. It's a annoying place to try to fly too. Cheaper flights and car rentals from DEN, but then a 7ish hour drive up there. I feel like you can fly somewhere that's 3-4 hours away (like Casper), but that's usually way more expensive, and/or some long flight connection. Also make sure if you drive from Denver (or anywhere), stay on the bigger roads - sometimes google takes people on 'shorter' but more direct 4-wheel-drive roads that end up taking longer, and/or get your car stuck...

You can also fly in to SLC.  It is a shorter drive to Lander, about 4.5 hours, but probably a little further to 10sleep, more like 7 hours.  Wild Iris is on the way to Lander from SLC, probably 4 hours.  Sometimes you can get decent tickets to Jackson as it has some direct flights from major hubs.  It would be shorter to either place from there.

Easiest way is to fly into Riverton.

It's a 2 1/2 hour drive from Casper to Lander, but it's like $400 extra to fly from Denver to Casper.

Try Billings. 3.5 hr drive from ten sleep. 

You could try flying into Rapid City and drive the remainder 

Riverton is close, but it doesn't have rental cars...

Before we moved out here, we used DEN as ingress/egress for a bunch of trips. We figured out that you could save $$$ by taking RTD or Uber from the airport slightly into town and picking up a car from one of the local rental offices rather than the airport office. I've found 90% of the time you can do a 1-way rental from the local office, to the airport with a minimal increase in price (making drop off and departure much easier). Something worth considering if you're road tripping. I don't recommend this at SLC since most of the major rental companies are attached to the airport.
