Hey!

I am an AMGA certified Apprentice Rock Guide looking to work in/around the Tetons. Know of any companies, besides JHMG, that are located in the Jackson area who are possibly hiring for this summer?

If you're looking for a summer gig as an apprentice guide, Yostmark doesn't have a permit to guide in the park. Exum usually hires by invitation only. Although they would certainly benefit from more female guides so maybe they are more receptive to having a female apprentice on board (maybe not, but no harm in showing interest). Female guides have made complaints about our climbing concessionaires, FYI. I assume they have cleaned up their act. You could always sign up as a porter for JHMG but that's a questionable job - hurts your back and knees.

You might try the park's climbing rangers. If they have job openings, they are usually posted in January (might be too late now).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
