Hello, is it a good time to climb in tramway right now? Planning to visit on the 17th. It will also be my first time, can anyone share some beta of climbing there?

I know there is an entrance fee and reservation. Some more questions I have:

How many pads per person can you carry up the tramway?

How far are the boulders from the tramway?

Anyone want to climb between 17th-21st?

Thanks! Really appreciate it.

I've seen people carry as many as two pads per person.. I don't believe there is a limit to how many you can carry onto the tram.

There is a guidebook, but its out of print and $$$.

I believe the boulders vary from around a quarter mile (near the ranger station) to a couple miles away.

I am pretty sure nomad ventures still carries the guidebook, there were a few at the Temecula store a couple of months ago. Worth giving them a call.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
