Allen Sanderson wrote: I still have 8 hard slab projects around me of similar difficulty and height that I have to do (and about 30-40 slabby trad and sport routes). All a 20 minute drive from my house in Morgantown. And then all the hard East Coast slabs, and then I'll head west. I have heard Old Rag in VA has a ton of potential for granite La Pedriza style slab sport routes too! If I am ever out your direction, I'll happily hop on whatever slabs you point me at! |

I've been playing Insane in the Membrane in my brain this entire thread and it just fits perfect |

Brother should have stopped halfway and pulled a Cliff Bar out of that beard |

Slab is fun till it’s wet |

While this is much harder than any boulder I will ever climb this video is boring. Not “INSANE” |

I never thought I'd see the day that the proj was successfully trolled by a bunch of WVU coeds. Well done fellows! |

Slab Justice Warrior is one of the most solid IG accounts out there. Its conceptual and practical purity is unrivaled. If you know of other people who have invented, claimed, and fulfilled a niche so effectively, please share and I will follow. Mtn Project forum is precisely the place for this kind of thing. There needs to be metacommentary around IG climbing. |

This thread has sort of become like this one: |

You know youve made it when your insta handle is @brodudeV11, until then you are just like a normal human. |

Pnelson wrote: I took a casual trip down to do a bunch of the easier slab boulders. Andre the Giant onsight was probably the highlight. Wanted to hop on Love in an Elevator, but I didn't know who to ask for a pin. It is hard to convince myself to drive 3 hours for heavily featured slabs when I have sparsely features slabs 20 minutes away. |
