Left/Right beaks

I was looking at the moses tomahawk beaks, which come in left, right, and straight.  The left and right seem to have advantages in corners, but wouldn't they also work just fine in splitter cracks/horizontals?  Is there any reason at all to buy straight beaks?

The right/left work fine in a straight in crack. I don't use them anymore because straight tomahawks work just as well in corners generally.

If I know a route will have primarily one type of corner system I'll bring the ones I own otherwise I don't see the point in trading a beak that works in all situations for one that works in some situations

Oh, well if straight beaks work fine in corners, then I guess the best thing to do would be to just buy straight ones.  Thanks!
