Im a college student in Missouri looking to buy a cheap hangboard, thought Id check here first to see if anyone had a used one they were willing to part with, Im willing to pay shipping but the most
id feel comfortable spending is $35. Im looking for a lighter option.

I would suggest posting something similar on a local climbers Facebook group page or even searching Facebook marketplace. St Louis Climbers is a good example of the type of group I’m talking about. People seem to be ditching old boards all the time on these pages.

Otherwise you can make one fairly easily and on the cheap. There are YouTube tutorials from Dave Macleod and Mani the Monkey that are both good. Another option is finding some comfortable hold you like at the gym and then buying them to affix to a piece of plywood.

Hope you luck out!
