Petzl Bm'd for rope solo and general heavy duty use

Hi all,

Pretzel makes a neat biner called the Bm'd that's like their asym D called (the Am'd) but it has a reinforced gate. It's rated 32kn major, 16kn minor, 10kn open and 16kn for both gate intrusion and this other weird loading scenario (viewable in the technical notice).

With a Captiv (their flavor of anti-crossloading widget), it seems like it could be a good option for rope solo chicanery and general heavy duty use in anchoring or other off-brand uses. No, it's not UIAA rated but it has other certifications for work-at-height environments and it's rated to a high breaking load.

Seems like it could be useful and I haven't seen it mentioned here in my lurking.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
