The Rostrum opens next week from falcon closures and am eager to get on it.... But it’s July and 1 millions degrees in the Valley.
I know it’s north facing but how long/ what time of the day is it in the sun?

I've been on it a few times [in the fall], and it should get zero sun until at least 3 or 4pm.
But see Alexey's post below.

I've been thinking the same thing when I've driven down 120 earlier this summer. I think I recall the face being in the sun a lot earlier than I expected - around 12. But the MP widget says I'm wrong so who knows.

Here's a shot taken from 120 on 2014-07-12 at 2:09pm - shows a little sun on the midway ledge and maybe on the upper part of Blind Faith.

first pitches in July is on the sun until 1pm- unbearable with temperature  85 +. wait until mid September or later - more enjoyable
