While climbing at Horse Flats on July 8 and this morning the 9th me and two others heard loud boom noises. Edwards Air Force Base sonic booms? Earthquakes? Anybody else hear any scary noises in the woods lately? It didn't sound like thunder, it sounded more like a muffled bass drum being struck once.

That’s just Tradiban walking through the woods. Have you seen the size of his feet??

No construction on highway two except for the landslide at Redbox so probably a sonic boom

My guess is it's Medusa's loneliness hitting terminal velocity.

And your sleuthing / detective work incorrect again,  maybe if you were on your own planet by yourself you would be a good Investigator otherwise not looking so good

Testing bunker busters at 29 Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center? Under the right atmospheric conditions that sound can carry a long way.
