Hiya,

I am driving through Idaho at the end of June. When are the Sawtooths usually climbable?

I went there in June several years ago but there’s been quite a bit of snow so you may want to wait until July. Call sawtooth mountain guides and they can give you a real conditions report.

Give "The Elephants Perch" or "Sawtooth Mountain Guides" a call. It looks like the guides are already guiding Super Slab per their instagram https://www.instagram.com/sawtoothguides/?hl=en

I climbed at the Perch last year the weekend of June 23rd.  The creek was raging and difficult to cross and there was some snow on the way to the Perch, but it was doable. They've had substantially more snow this year so who knows. It probably depends on where you're wanting to climb.

Climbable year 'round.  You just have to be prepared for conditions.

Salmon is running a bit higher than average (drove past last weekend).  Snowpack and precip at or over average.

Still plenty of snow:
