Suggestion: When exporting ticks and to-dos to CSV, reverse the order of Location

When you export your ticks or to-dos to a CSV file, the Location data is output as something like "Wall Street > Potash Road > Moab Area > Utah". But if you want to sort or filter by state, area, sub-area, crag, etc., you need to be an Excel wizard and create a very complicated formula or you need to use the Text to Columns function and then manually move things around because some rows will just have 3 items, some will have 4, and some may have even more. All of this difficulty would be eliminated if the CSV files instead output the location data as "Utah > Moab Area > Potash Road > Wall Street". This just makes more sense to read and this easy fix on the back-end would probably save users countless hours of effort. Pretty please!!!

it would also make a simple lexicographical sort function as expected

That's actually a bug.  It's supposed to be ordered as you suggested.  I don't write code here anymore, but if you contact support, they might be able to get it done.  It's a single line of code on the server side to flip the order :)

Just pushed a fix for this. Re-export your CSVs and locations will be in the order you expect.

Bam! Works like a charm now. Great site/app and great community. Thanks everyone!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
