I’ll be in LV for a few days this week and am looking for an efficient way to get to the Kraft boulders. I won’t have a car and have never been before so am hoping to find people to venture out with. Can anyone suggest a good way to find people? Maybe call a couple gyms and ask if they know anyone going out? I plan to rent a pad Thursday night before heading out. Uber will cost a ton and I’m not sure about hitchhiking. Let me know if you plan on going Friday morning and I’d love to meet up!

Maybe try your luck on the vegas climbers FB page?  Or use the partner finder on this site?

take the bus to red rock casino, then try to hitchhike from there as you walk up charleston blvd, as you get closer to RR the cars will become more friendly

Looks like rain the next day or two, but if its dry by Sunday I'll go out to Kraft with you. I have a couple of pads.

Appreciate it Ashort, but I’m looking to climb Friday morning. I might hit up the gyms and see if they know anyone heading out.

It doesn't appear that any rain of significance fell at the visitor's center, and it seemed bone dry at our house in Summerlin when I got home yesterday even though radar indicated some showers had moved through.  I'm all for avoiding wet sandstone, but only if it actually gets wet.
