Adding user ID to quotes

Would it be possible to add a user's ID to the markup when somebody quotes them? Perhaps add a "userid" attribute to the blockquote element?

Since there was no user ignore feature I do it on my end. It is easy enough to filter posts from users by their user id, but I also like to remove replies to them to get rid of the derailed discussions. Currently I have to look for "<user> wrote" in the quote, but that name can be changed. Something fixed would be nice.

Heck, can it be added to the message-row tr elements too? I'm currently looking for the ID in the avatar photo but the attribute on the tr would be nicer...

Ran into the same issue over here. You can get around this somewhat by storing/updating name/id associations opportunistically. But that doesn't work 100% of the time, obviously.

A native feature to ignore a user and replies to that user would be pretty great though.
