Hello! wondering if anyone has had experience with SummitClimb Seattle Glacier course, which is offered for free on Rainer ( summitclimb.com/climb/seatt…). I am considering taking the course to refresh my glacier and snow skills that have been dormant for 2 decades or so due to inactivity. All other similar courses out there are several thousand dollars, and I accept that what I might get for free might by necessity of lesser quality, but since I have had significant previous exposure to glaciated mountaineering, and only need a refresher, this might actually work and save me some money. plus Daniel Mazul that leads the company and the class seems like an expert and known mountaineer, with several succesful 8000m ascents, won the Sir Edmund Hillary Mountain Legacy Medal, etc..
would be grateful if anybody could share any direct information or experience with the company. thanks
