That the first recorded ascent in the Flatirons was in 1906 of the East Face of the Third by the Millard brothers, climbing without ropes...?

Or that the first recorded use of climbing ropes in Colorado was also in the Flatirons in 1919?

That Layton Kor first met Pat Ament when he rescued him and partner Larry Dalke on a snowy night on the Yellow Spur.  And that Kor and Ament would soon be climbing together?

That during the 1970's local bouldering lead global standards with difficulties in the range of V12+?
