OK, so what is the trick to adding an new or unlisted route in an established area? Things seem to have changed. Used to be straight forward and simple. Now maybe I am simple (minded) but I've tried several times and had no success. What's up with this?

Go to the area in question. Look in the upper right corner. Click where it says "Add to Page". Click "Route".

Hey John:
Thanks much. I knew it had to be simple, but the controls have changed since I was using it in the past and I didn't want to mess with it too much.
U R a good man. Really appreciate your fast, kind reply.

For anyone else looking for this, please note that areas can either contain routes or sub-areas, but not both.  It's generally best to build out the areas as needed (regions, cliff bands, then individual crags, for example), and THEN add routes to the crags.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
