Hi all, I'm planning on taking a short 2-week bouldering trip to the Denver area once I get done with school this year. I was starting to browse around on Mountain Project and was feeling overwhelmed by the amount of problems and areas to choose from. I was just wondering if there were any specific areas that you guys would recommend and which guidebook I should pick up to help me get around. I'm also planning on doing some hiking on my rest days so if anyone has any suggestions for some beautiful hikes, that'd be great!

Castle Rock’s state park is only about 45 min south of Denver and has plenty of boulders. About 45 min west of Denver is Morrison which is also a popular bouldering spot. Guidebooks, I’m clueless but Mountain Project usually is enough for me (climbing v2-v3 level).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
