Hi everyone,

I'll try posting on fbook as well (I read it's more active for this location).

I'm looking to do some sport climbing around Austin. I'm a solid 5.10 climber and trying to break through the .11's and send a .12

I'll bring my 70m and draws, rent a car, and camp out there or sleep where ever.

Seismic wall or Maggie's wall caught my eye! And Middle Earth wall! I'm willing to go anywhere, and appreciate advice to beat the heat and chase the shade.

Safe travels,
Jason

If you have a gym rope you can bring that instead of a 70m as everything is pretty short. It's hot, but there are still plenty of people trying to get outside. Most of the walls at Reimers are in the shade until noon-2pm so if you plan your day right you can get plenty of climbing in then jump in the river afterwards to cool off. Unfortunately your camping options are not great.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
