Red Wing, Barn Bluff. This Summer.

I'm a new sport climber looking for a partner to help me get outside. I lead on 5.10 in the gym but would like to begin on a lower grade route. Can provide own essential gear. I live in the Southwest Metro in Minnesota. Hit me up! If our schedules do not perfectly match I will make time, I am very determined to learn how to climb outside and hope to start doing so safely.

Howdy, are you looking to exclusively sport climb?  There are climbs at Taylors Falls and the North Shore that are of much higher quality than Red Wing, which is a blasted out quarry.

If you want to learn trad, there is an outing group called MN Rovers, that has a rock climbing section that can help you meet other climbers and help you develop the skills you need to stay safe and have a good time.
