I am from eastern Canada and will be flying to Vancouver June 17th to 23rd before a summer posting in the west. On June 17-18, I am looking for a partner to climb something in the North Cascades. Shuksan's Sulphide glacier or Fischer's Chimney is on my mind but it could be any other objective. I would also be very happy if you happen to want to ski. On June 19-23, we are already two for Forbidden's NW Face and Baker's North ridge. We would be glad to have a third member on the team. I have glacier training, experience and gear. Past things I have done include spring mt Whitney, the Mexico volcanoes, Huayna Potosi, Aconcagua solo, and a few more peaks in South America in the 6000m range. He is from a rock and ice climbing background and can lead the routes we are planning to do. Our flights are booked already and we will have a car. I believe proper planning and good efficiency are key to success in mountaineering.
