After dealing with a junk spine finally pulled the trigger and went to Germany for some lumbar artificial discs. In the recovery phase now, but would love to hear if anybody has success stories about getting after it following an ADR surgery.

I have one in my neck a little over a year now. Between C6 and C7 recovery took a little longer then I would have liked due to how long the ruptured disk was cutting off nerves. That's the only down side I have found. I can't tell the disk is there and don't have any pain or side effects from it.  I'm told necks are much different them backs though.  I hope you have the success with yours that I have had with mine so far.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
