Settle a bet among my climbing friends. What is the climbing beer the most climbers bring and enjoy at the crag? The census will more than likely settle a bet.

I'm quite sure everyone will be in agreement on one particular beer.

Probably, but my friends seem to think theirs a few in particular that most enjoy. Just want to hear what the people think and put the argument the rest.

You assume climbers bring the same beer to all crags they visit. Here in lies the fault in this question. If I find myself romping around the desert southwest, I might require a steady intake of camo cans of Busch.  On a particularly hot morning on Potash road, one might bring a delicious Avery Gose + orange juice. In the Eldo parking lot watching folks get benighted on the East Slabs, I might select a local danky IPA.

This census, I think, will surely make this bet of yours much more confusing.  Prost!

I'm pretty sure the Utah desert requires copious amounts of PBR, especially if you're doing a Fisher tower. Please leave your busch out of the greater Moab area, thank you very much.

Alternatively, 40s are acceptable for some of the bigger desert objectives. And tequilla is preferred for obscure routes in SE Utah.

Sierra Nevada cans is a classy bet, but I think PBR easily wins this. But I'm a hideous alcoholic, so pass over everything I just said..

edit~ a couple 40's of King Cobra was how you got spotted on Midnight Lightning back before pads. Find 2 huge dudes and bribe them.

PBR. Just to help you win your bet.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
