I have a friend coming into town and the plan, as it currently stands, is to climb at the New River Gorge this weekend. I read the forum about rainy day crags. I guess my concern is with it raining all week is anything going to be dry? We all climb in the 12s and would be happy to get shut down on some easy 13s. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

The Cirque at Endless, Area 51 at Southside, and the Coliseum at the lake all have burley overhangs that will stay dry for the most part.

Put some $$$ in the bolt bucket if you stop by Waterstone. <3

Better yet, drop by the AAC campground Friday night for the BFP.  Beer, potluck, rocking live music, and all the latest gear venders.

We just reserved our spot at the campsite. We will have to join in on the festivities. Thanks for the heads up.

The Other place at southside crags and the Gloryhole aka the Hole at Kaymoor although the hole sometime seeps if it's been radining for a while

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
