Unfortunately I posted some comments on this thread ages ago and I couldn’t remotely care about reading updates-but I keep getting notices that mountainproject thinks I’ll care about.  

How do I stop receiving notifications that a thread has new responses?

Uncheck the box in the thread that says "Follow topic."

I say we pump this thread to 10 pages.

They really need to fix that so you can set the default of no notifications. I don't know why they think we want to get notified every single time we post in a forum by default.

Notifications for someone responding/quoting/mentioning you in a thread...Now that would be a nice default!
