My son is doing a school project on Layton Kor. Does anyone have any old Layton Kor climbing magazine articles or other references they can photo copy or scan for him? And/or recommend any books we could find at the library?

I have "Climb! The History of Rock Climbing in Colorado", "A History of Free Climbing in America: Wizards of Rock", and "Longs Peak: A History of Colorado's Favorite Fourteener".

Thanks!

I got this book from the Boulder library and really liked it.

Thanks Tim. I'd heard of his book but always thought it was super rare and out of print. New hard cover copy for $23 on Amazon - awesome!

There are some really exciting accounts of his early days in Black Canyon in "The Games Climbers Play". Super fun read by the way of early climbing history and ethics. Enjoy!! I found a copy at the Denver central library years ago, looks like its still there! catalog.denverlibrary.org/s…;pos=1
