Direct approach for Lurking Fear

Erik Sloan's big wall guidebook hints at a "Lurking Fear pullout" on the approach section of Ribbon Falls wall.  From what I can tell, this would be the last pullout on the right exactly where the El Cap Meadow ends, which is full of massive logs right not.  Unfortunately, I could not quite figure out where the trail would be from there.  I can see the trail that merges with the valley loop trail, but nothing that gets closer to the wall.  Is it that the trail is really faint or am I searching from the wrong pullout?

One way or another, is this direct approach better than the one starting at the bridge and going via the Nose terrace?

If there is a trail it's steep AF, and likely not worth the effort. Walking from the Nose takes about 40 min, is much more gradual, and easier with a bag.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
