Good spots for on the ground gear placing and multi-pitch practice in Red Rock?

I'm looking for a spot to take a beginner to learn to place and remove gear on the ground. I'd like to follow that up with a multi-pitch "climb" to practice transitions and efficiency. Ideally in an area with 4th or low 5th class scrambling that I can break into pitches just to get the skills down. I'm thinking calico hills or first pullout, but was hoping to get some recommendations before just wandering around.

the base of peaches has a good area, u can even build hanging belays. Then you could walk over and lead something easy like this..    mountainproject.com/route/1…   ...at mossy ledges

Thanks guys. I think I did the second pitch of coronary bypass thinking I was on chocolate Sunday. That is a good beginner route.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
