I’m selling my 2008 Sprinter Van. It's a great climbing rig and I've had some fun adventures with this vehicle. I've enjoyed the process of building it out but I'm getting married and we’re no longer using it very much. It's time for this van to find a new owner who will spend more time with it. The van is in great shape and runs great too.  Here are the details in terms of the RV conversion work, mechanical work and a list of the imperfections for full transparency.  I just had the van detailed so it’s looking sharp and is very clean. **This van is in Tucson, AZ**

  • 111,000 miles
  • 6 cylinder Diesel Engine
  • RWD
  • Clean Title

Click here for more photos in Craigslist Ad

  • RV Conversion work:
  • 3 Layers of insulation/ sound deadening: spray foam, reflectix and rattletrap
  • Cedar panelling on walls & ceiling
  • 100 watt renogy solar panel and charge controller
  • 100 amp hour Die Hard Gold Auxiliary battery - New March 2017
  • Blue Sea systems ACR (automatic charging relay) charges auxiliary battery from alternator
  • Passenger seat swivel
  • Paperstone counter top and stainless steel sink with hand pump
  • 50 quart ARB fridge/ freezer -
  • Curt 2" towing hitch - used for a bike rack. Will sell Rocky Mounts - Monorail
  • Maxx air maxxfan with in/out feature and rain cover
  • CR Laurence T-vent window
  • 300 watt power inverter (for charging computers etc.)
  • IKEA LED lights in ceiling and under shelves to light counter
  • Manufactured maple hardwood floors with OSB subfloor and rattle trap underneath.
  • Auxiliary Cord for radio
  • Curtains for front cabin and magnetic insulated window covers for rear windows
Mechanical work:
  • Green Diesel engineering Eco Tune - improves fuel economy and removed 82mph governor. Average fuel economy is 22-23 mpg. Including electric code reader to turn this feature on or off and read engine codes.
  • EGR is new within the last 20,000 miles
  • New DPF and differential pressure sensors - March 2017
  • New Mass Airflow sensor and boost pressure sensor - March 2016
  • New fuel injector pump - January 2017
  • Oil changes have been done every ~ 8,000 miles (10,000 is the recommended length between changes)
  • Last oil change was at 107,500
  • New Rear brake rotors, pads and emergency brake - January 2018, Front brakes still have ~60% life.
  • New starter battery - February 2017
  • New Auxiliary battery - March 2017
  • New Alternator & wiring harness - July 2016
  • Airbag was replaced as per Takata recall - January 2018
Things to be aware of
  • Windshield has a crack
  • Brake pad warning light is on. The brakes are fine and I've had them repaired and checked by 2 different mechanics but the light comes and goes.
  • There are some minor rust spots on the body. These are just small cosmetic things and I have touched up the paint.
  • The drivers side roof has a dent. The previous owner bumped something. - see photos
  • A bit of the vinyl is peeling off the driver's seat
I'm asking $28,000 OBO. Will not accept Paypal, in person payments only please.

PM me for more info.

Too broke to buy this, but that's some impressive MPG on a van.
