We are coming in to climb at the end of next week and the weather looks reasonable, little warm, but dry. I think we have our climbs lined up pretty well, sorry about the formatting. I am open to any suggestions as well. Wife is a solid 12a toproper, and can lead 11-, I am pretty confident up to 13a, can't send it usually but can get to the top. We are also going to be bouldering one day and have pads reserved at the school.

So, other than climbing what do you suggest. We have 2 rest days built in. We are planning on breakfast in the room most days and lunch at the crag with the exception of those rest days. Dinner will be out every night. Where are the spots to not miss food wise? We don't gamble a ton so the main draw for us will be food and interesting stuff. Thinking of container park, fremont st, etc.

Not interested in anything in the canyons ? Just a sport trip?

Check out wake up wall and/or strategic arms wall they might be your flavor/speed.

Also just logistics wise for hitting them both in the same day Cannibal and Sunny & Steep could not be further apart obviously doable since Cannibal is so close to the road but still.

As far as seeing stuff on the strip that isn’t to “stripy” ... my wife and I really like the Linq ... sorta like an outdoor promenade thing with restaurants and bars ect... it has The Gordon Ramsey fish and chips place which is really good and also the Haut Doggery (fancy hot dog place) .... it’s original aim was to be a place for local to go on the strip but it’s kinda drifted away from that but still really cool ... also has the high roller observation wheel (do it at night if your going to do it)

See the show, "Mystere," by Cirque du Soleil. If it's still playing at Treasure Island. Remarkable show.

I personally found Fremont St and the Container Park rather boring.  The Mob Museum I thought was terrific.  The Bellagio is worth seeing for the amazing Chihuly in the ceiling of the Lobby, the garden/conservatory and the Dancing Waters (all free although they now charge for parking).  If you like desert plants and haven't seen a lot of cacti in your life, the Springs Preserve is a wonderful Garden.

As to Casino/Strip restaurants, my own experience is that the "famous" name chef is no guarantee of quality.  Giadia, Border Grill, B&B Ristorante in the Venetian, I thought were mediocre, as a few examples. Probably one of the best meals of my life I had at Picasso, but that was under a different chef so I don't know how it is now.  Had a great meal at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill.  Fiamma in the MGM Grand is lower key and I've had very good meals there a couple of times.  I usually just cook in my RV.

A lot of the Cirque du Soleil shows are terrific.  My favorites are Ka, O, and Mystere.  Ka I think might appeal the most to a climber.

Sport and Boulder, don't climb on gear.

How far, time wise, for the two areas? I looked on the site here and they looked close enough, but I have no idea.

Is that a joke or have I been paying too much?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
