Great read. When we did the East Ridge we stopped in at the Ranger Station to get some details on the "Tricky Traverse." First done 15 year after your ascent and now the standard for by passing the Molartooth.  As we were talking to the ranger he basically said follow your nose. My partner persisted in wanting some more details. The ranger was a bit gruff and kept saying just follow your nose. After walking out my partner was grumbling about the ranger not giving us more information. I looked at my partner and said did you notice the ranger's name. He had not. It was none other than Bob Irvine who did the FA of the Tricky Traverse. I later got to know Bob and many of the other Teton rangers. He got a kick out of hearing that story.

Good read.  Personally, I liked the photo at the end and didn't think it tacky.  The deadly serious expressions made me laugh.
