I've broken/wore out another couple Metolius master cam trigger wires this is the fifth cam in I think 2 seasons I sent the last 3 in but its 8 bucks a cam I kinda just wanna do it my self to save a bit of money; however metlious does an excellent job and cleans the crap out of them i think they put them in a vibrating tumbler or something they come back looking new.  I've replaced the trigger wirers it in a pinch on a climbing trip with some crappy string but it quickly broke after a few routes. I think the cord they use is about 1.5 mm in diameter but cant confirm this. Does anyone have experience with replacing their own on the UL cams and maybe a link to what cord they used to fix them?

I'll bet Metolius would tell you the size of their trigger wires, if you asked. Give 'em a call.

I'm measuring it at exactly 1 mm.  Do you have some Kevlar-containing cord in that size?

It's kevlar cord. You will also need some kind of glue or epoxy to replace them and some way to remove the current cord and glue.

I don't know how accurate this is, but I remembered this from a prior post. See user "Ray Pinpillage" second post in the following link:

Please understand that I don't know how accurate this is. I haven't yet had to do this on my Ultralight Master Cams.

Also if you haven't found the tutorial from Metolius:
