Wanted: Apartment in Bishop

I recently landed a dream job in Mammoth Lakes doing IT, so my girlfriend and I are looking to move to Bishop.  The market is pretty scarce right now.  I've checked all the standard things––Trulia, Coldwell Bankers, De La Rosa, Inyo Register/Mammoth Times and the Sierra Reader.  Does anybody have any leads on places out there?  Does anybody have a sense for the market and when more things will become available?

Being a small town, Bishop is hard to find housing through the typical routes as you mentioned. Probably better luck hanging out at local shops and crags and asking around. Black sheep coffee, eastisde sports, mountain rambler brewery. Often you’ll be able to find flyers at these establishments if not even locals with leads.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
