Was just thinking about this, sparked by certain posters and their seemingly endless free time and motivation to post here.

How much is too often?  Not sure, but figured I'd take a look at mine and start there.

Calc'd just over 2200 days as a member or so, which puts me here:  1447 Posts / ~2204 days = ~.66 posts per day

Even that seems high to me, as far as how much time I should spend online farting around.  Where do you fall?

The first profile I thought I'd check had well over 3 per day.  Yikes!

I have nothing but free time. I hope to post several more times in this thread.

Whoa Split!  Is that math right?

11 years (4015 days) on this site and only 332 posts.

had to calc FrankPS.  1.68 post per day.  He does a great service by asking posters/trollers if they have the guidebook. :)

Okay.

1.68 per day, that's getting closer to ridiculous.  Anybody over 2?

I'd like to claim the crown, but a certain woman has an average of over 3 per day.

And thanks, splitclimber. Those "what should I climb" threads are tedious.

Edit: I just noticed that the latest post in this forum (Community Forum) doesn't show up in Latest Forum Posts. Strange? Seems like a recent change.

I am logged in. This thread started out appearing in Latest Forum Posts but does not appear there now (for me). Can you see this thread in Latest Forum Posts?

I contacted Nick about it. Here's what he said:

"You are correct - messages in the Community Forum do not appear on the home page nor the Latest Posts page. It was actually a bug when they did appear there for a few months."

I'm .37 making me a master of tantric posting.

And, yes community posts don't appear on main page. Major troll fail Burchy :(

880 days. 181 posts. This is 0.21 posts per day.

Now I’m curious who posts daily or even more than that. I’ll bet my rack that if someone posts that much... better get some help. I will say that if I was not working and had nothing but free time I would likely post much more.

The real question is who is #1 on MP for most posts ever using this calculation. I’m wayyy too interested to find out.

You boys having fun?

MP Community, the "certain woman" has, in the past, had actual back and forth conversations, partially because she was willing to stand her ground with bullying.

Not saying these guys are bullies. I've had offline conversations with three of the five in here so far.

Hmmmm.

I'm at .89, what number do I need to hit before you're impressed, Burchy?

Do I have to bring my overall average up?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
