You will likely be able to rent shoes, a belay device, and a harness, depending on where you are climbing. The US is a fairly large, spread-out country, with climbing destinations from coast to coast.

You will not be able to rent a rope, quickdraws, or traditional climbing protection. However, gear is generally cheaper in the US than anywhere else, so feel free to support our economy.

Have you ever rock climbed before? If not, you should get some instruction first.

Some places that rent climbing gear will not rent harnesses because of liability issues, but you can always purchase an inexpensive harness and then re-sell it online.

All our multiple climbing gears are belong to us.
