If I was to fly in for a week in early March how hard would it be to find climbing partner? Where do you find said partner?

Any other first time Bishop climbers beta.

I'm in bishop right now and have been for 4 days.

First day I just wandered down into the gorge with rope and draws and was able to find an odd number group to jump in with.

Tons of people at the buttermilks and happy boulders. Super easy to find a problem your grade and just ask to join in on working it.

Worst case scenario you can rent a pad for approx $10 a day and solo boulder also. Most of the landings are super soft and flat, ideal for one pad solo adventures.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
