If I was to fly in for a week in early March how hard would it be to find climbing partner? Where do you find said partner?

Any other first time Bishop climbers beta.

Thanks

If bouldering at the Happies or Buttermilks, finding people to climb with will be insanely easy. There will be tons of boulderers, often climbing in groups. If you are friendly, most people will be happy to have you join in. Especially if you have a pad to contribute to the pile. Just show up at the boudering area you wish to climb at, find a group of climbers on a problem you'd be interested in getting on, and ask to join in. Easily done...

For the Owens, it takes a little more effort but is entirely doable. Best way to find other climbers is the camp at the Pit. The camping isn't the prettiest, but it is cheap and it is a good place to meet lots of climbers.

I'll trek out there and climb with ya. Hit me up! Problem solved.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
