It used to be that you could post a photo on to a forum discussion page with code such as

[img=113813970]

if the photo was already on MP, using the image ID number. Has something changed? Do photos need to be re-uploaded every time they get used now?

In fact, I tried to follow the upload prompt and I couldn't even successfully enter the MP URL of the photo. So how do I proceed?

I had the same issue.

Bed platform with drawer

Well, there are two problems. First, use two square brackets instead of one (which I did above), and just put ID number between the brackets. Like this, but with square brackets instead of curlies: {{113813970}} You can put in the ID for anything - routes, photos, users, etc.

OR add it like this:

Lastly, it was replacing with a link to the photo page, instead of showing the photo itself. I'll try to fix this soon. [Update: fixed so either method shows the actual photo.]

Thanks!

I got it to work like this: {{numbers}} but using square brackets...

but I could not get this to work:

But that's cool, the double square brackets solves the problem. Thanks, Nick!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
