Much bigger variety of rock than the average rock tourist ever imagines.  Some of it is very high quality.  Hit up Queen Mountain, some parts of Rattlesnake Canyon, etc

Great access, exploration opportunities, endless climbing in winter.  More climber friendly than lots of places.  As busy as it gets, it's usually easy to find solitude.  Rich history and full trad value.

I mean really, how many routes are here that are documented like 5,000? My car is getting repaired in yucca and I’m hangin here for probably 10 days. Sure is nice.

The last time I was Josh I counted at least 40,000 routes worth doing.  Get after them!

First conversation in J Tree: "let's make all these short, two-star climbs into classics by bolting them terribly!"

Read the guidebook. Oh, wait, that's for your other thread.
