I'll be around there for the first half of those days. Very much into alpine scrambles (and outside Tuolumne there's several more in range of Bishop and Lone Pine).
Single-pitch sport climbing, esp in 9-11 range, but glad to supporting harder -- (and might be doing some 5.4-5.8 stuff the first few days with a favorite partner).
Also finding and developing new sport routes.

Weather looking rather promising.

Have high-clearance vehicle, 70m rope + quick draws + light Trad rack, all guidebooks.

Just sent message to "shaunsclimbing", but glad to hear from other partners.

Hey y'all. Currently in camp 4 but heading to bishop/Owens river, tomorrow. I have a double rack and 70m as well as a 60 static. Just off a month long injury so I'm not pushing too hard so would rather stay in the 10c range. Anyone want to climb Thursday! 510-684-0179 -Diego

Do folks wanna meet up at Black Sheep on Thurs morning and go from there? Otherwise, I'll start messaging y'all individually :)

Anybody been up in the high country lately? How much, if any snow? I'm planning a trip to Bishop soon. 10/30 staying for a week or more. Interested in trad to mid 10s sport to 10+/11-. Would really like to climb Cardinal Pinnacle, Pine Cr., ORG or an alpine climb if weather permits. Anyone still looking for partners? Pm me or call/txt 559-4two9-two444. Thanks, Chad.

Seeking alpine partners for 10/29-11/1 Bishop and north. I have a 70m 9.2 + BD trad rack of singles + guidebooks. I'm looking for 4th-5.9 routes unless someone feels strong leading trad in the 5.10 range. I'm willing to spend a day or two in the valley, though I definitely want some time in the high country.

Some possibilities:
NE ridge 5.5 III or E arete 5.8 IV Bear Creek Spire 13,700'

SE face 5.8 IV Clyde Minaret 12,300'

E corner 5.7 III Banner Peak Peak 12,900'

SE buttress 5. III Cathedral Peak 10,900'

W pillar 5.9 III Eichorn Pinnacle 10,700'

Matthes Crest 5.6 II 10,900'

Cathedral Range traverse 5.7 IV 11,000'+

Also looking for Bishop area partner. I'm getting in tonight (29th), be there for next few days. I lead 5.10 pretty much everywhere but happy just to climb trad, sport, alpine, etc. More interested in quality routes than grades.

Have lots of gear, ropes, etc. From Squamish and have been to Bishop before.

Message on MP or cell is 6zero4-616-4758.

I'll probably be staying at BLM campground.

Cheers,

Mike

Hey Mike. I'm climbing with Chad and set for the next few days. Maybe next time in the Sierra or up in Squamish!

Hello folks,

I'm in the Bishop area now, would love to get on some Alpine rock, traverses, moderately speaking. :) I'll be here for the next several days/week. I have gear, high clearance vehicle, safety knowledge and stoke! I'm available for local cragging as well!

Have fun!
