Potentially suspicious craigslist ad in Springs. Anyone had any gear stolen?

Found it strange that the seller has nuts and cams, but refers to them as "rocks". They're also brand new, so the seller must've bought a few hundred worth in gear on a whim, and then decided to never return them.

Looked weird to me. Maybe it's not.

Ya weird.  Never heard C4's referred to as "Black Diamond double-wire trigger rocks".

I dunno, it seems to me that if a climber had their kit stolen, it wouldn't be all brand new gear.

Seems more like a noob with burning pockets.

(Or maybe a combination of both scenarios).

"one full set Black Diamond double-wire trigger rocks,"

is a very strange way to describe BD C4s .5-3. There's no way you could buy all this gear without learning the word "cam".

There are legit ways to end up in possession of a giant pile of gear you know nothing about, and trying to sell all of it at once makes sense given that this person definitely doesn't know how to use "trigger rocks." But yes, suspicious - thanks for posting.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
