aconcagua

hello! 

wondering if i absolutely need a double boot for aconcagua? i am a women's size 5 in boots and double boots for high alpine mountains like aconcagua are extremely hard to find. i have had no luck. if you've done aconcagua before, what would you recommend? 

I would not say that double boots are absolutely needed. Some people have gone to the summit in tennis shoes. If you are not having luck in finding something get a good pair of single boots and up size a bit so you can put in a good footbed and wear a warn sock. If were to go back and do the std route I would take single boots, if I were to go to Polish side again I would take double boots.
