I live in Albuquerque and my normal partner might be out of town over this weekend for work.
Excitable Boys: Im newly pushing into the Sandia 5.9+ with this route so it's a test piece for me. I've been on 5.9/5.10a in Yosemite valley and I struggled some but successfully completed them. From experience in the Sandia, I expect the Sandia rock to be easier and not as polished from travel/better crimps available outside the cracks than what I experienced in the valley.
Southwest Ridge: A classic in the Sandia, more alpine style, which is my much stronger point with alpine experience in tuolomne, Washington, Colorado, Utah. This is Sandia's longest route with a big approach so it's a light and fast type of day. I'd prefer to short simul or solo anything in the 5.4/5.5 range or below and pitch out anything 5.6 or above.
