Family Camping near Arches

Can anyone recommend a nice campground near Arches?  I will be arriving mid week during the last week of October, with my wife and kids.  We are planning to hike around Arches and not sure I will have a chance to get any climbing in.  Coming from CA, I am accustomed to needing reservations everywhere we go - is this the case in eastern Utah or will we be ok if we just show up (probably mid-afternoon on a Tues or Wed).  Thanks.

hi, depending if the weather is still nice....still a good idea to make a camping reservation....middle of the week not as busy... there are some OK campgrounds right in town (nothing notable) but I think Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse State Park are *beautiful* but about 40 minute drive away...take a drive down Potash Road, check out Wall Street, prob the kiddos would enjoy watching the climbers there !
