Has anyone used the DJI Spark Drone in cold weather yet?

Just curious on it's performance since it can be an awesome companion for video footage in a lightweight package.

LiPos don't do well in cold weather. They loose most of their ability to hold a charge. What would normally last 8-10 minutes will give you 2-3 if that.

After experiencing a drone at Shelf Road a couple weeks ago, I hope yours blows up. Actually, that's not fair, I apologize. I hope it crashes. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just saying, please, light it on fire.

Please carefully consider your negative impact to other area users when flying it. If you cannot do so because it may be your "right" to fly it don't be surprised if someone in the area decides to negatively impact your day as well. Some of us have deep pockets and really great attorneys :)

So that's how you say it without breaking Guideline #1.

We'll see.

I use a drone frequently for work so they have their place. Unless you have the crag to yourself that is not the place.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
