Catching the Saturday, Sep 30th train from Durango. Planning on making an attempt on all four Chi Basin 14er summits on Sunday, October 1. Will anyone else be there with similar goal? Or like to join me?

I'll be hoping for good "September weather" but mentally prepared for worse - especially up high, knowing that I'm playing with the transition season. (i.e. microspikes and willingness to turn around, but motivation to push through, safely.)

I'm open to staying one more day and catching the Monday 10/2 train home if it means experiencing all four peaks, but the plan is to aim for the 1-day grand slam and get back to the train on 10/.

I've been to the CB two years ago, but was rained out of attempts to climb in August and rescheduled again this year during Monsoon season.
