Im living in Estes Park for the summer (until October), I just got my first trad rack, and I'm looking for someone more experienced to climb some mellow trad routes with. I want to learn as much as I can about trad climbing and safety, and have as many fun adventures as possible before I leave Colorado.
Currently my free days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I've been climbing for half a year and can lead 5.9 sport outside, 10s and 11s in the gym. I've followed on trad and have led a couple 5.6s. I prioritize fun and safety when I climb, and I'd rather explore and have a good time than climb as hard as possible, but I'm always looking to improve my skills as well.
I'm hoping to do some easy multipitch at the flatirons, eldo, or around Estes/lumpy ridge. I'd even be down for just some adventurous scrambles in the alpine of rmnp (I work in the park and can get in for free). I'm getting tired of sport and want to climb tall things!
